Webjet v0.11.6
Stablereleased this
2026-10-10 10:58:23 +08:00 | 0 commits to main since this release0.11.6: dependency updates
- libc is no longer held at 0.2.189. The vendored copy of gpui's HTTP
client (vendor/gpui_http_client) no longer pulls in xattr 0.2, which
stopped building for Linux with libc 0.2.190. - cargo update: libc 0.2.190, cc 1.7, uuid 1.28, zip 9 (webjetup),
netconfig-rs 0.1.6 (tun-rs), taffy 0.9.2, core-foundation 0.10.1.
Upgrading: no order needed; only dependency updates.

2026-10-10 09:32:43 +08:00 | 3 commits to main since this release0.11.5: trackpad pinch zoom in the desktop app
- webjet-app: a two-finger trackpad pinch zooms the Nodes graph around
the pointer on macOS. The vendored gpui now passes macOS magnify
events on as a new PinchEvent (vendor/README.md). Windows touchpads
already zoomed through Ctrl + wheel.
Upgrading: no order needed; only the desktop app changed.

Webjet v0.11.2
Stablereleased this
2026-10-09 22:52:46 +08:00 | 18 commits to main since this release0.11.2: reverse proxy follows accept_real_ip changes
webjetd
- Reverse proxy: when a target turns [proxy] accept_real_ip on or off and
restarts its agent, the ingress closes the flows whose source no longer
fits (within about 10 s). A UDP client's next datagram starts a new flow
with the right source; before, a client that kept sending (a game
client) stayed on the ingress's overlay address until it went quiet for
2 minutes. - Reverse proxy: TCP segments of connections neither end tracks (closed
this way, or lost in a restart of the ingress or the target) get a
reset, so clients reconnect instead of waiting for a timeout.
Upgrading: no order needed. Upgrade the ingress nodes for the fix; targets
on 0.11.2 also reset connections they lost in a restart.Downloads

2026-10-09 08:03:29 +08:00 | 23 commits to main since this release0.11.1: desktop app fixes
webjet-app
- Nodes: the wheel over the node finder's list scrolls only the list,
not the node details around it. - Merkle: every separator moves. The tree summary is now a movable pane
above the leaves, details and operation log, with separators between
the signed head, the genesis and the signing keys (each panel scrolls).
In small windows the summary used to push the panes below to zero
height, so their separators couldn't be grabbed.
Upgrading: no order needed; only the desktop app changed.

Webjet v0.11.0
Stablereleased this
2026-10-09 05:53:11 +08:00 | 26 commits to main since this release0.11.0: broadcast and multicast over the overlay, FreeBSD/OPNsense, the desktop app in releases
Broadcast and multicast (architecture 9.5.1, 9.5.2)
- LAN discovery works across the overlay: Minecraft Bedrock (RakNet),
mDNS, SSDP, game lobbies. On by default, scoped by policy. - Storm-proof: the sender fans out one copy per recipient and nobody
forwards; only UDP the host sends from its overlay address; echoes
are dropped; a per-node budget (multicast_packets_per_sec 50,
multicast_bytes_per_sec 64 KiB) with the multicast_limit alarm. - Follows IGMP/MLD membership; the pool's directed broadcast is carried.
- [multicast] capture = ["udp:19132"]: copies broadcasts the host sends
out its LAN (games broadcasting from 0.0.0.0) into the overlay. Linux
(AF_PACKET), macOS and FreeBSD (BPF), Windows (raw socket, limited
broadcasts). Off by default. - No ICMP errors about multicast or broadcast packets any more.
FreeBSD 14 / OPNsense 24.7+ (x86_64)
- webjetd: tun renaming, routes, multicast groups, capture; split DNS,
NAT and the reverse proxy stay Linux only. - webjetup and install.sh: rc.d services under daemon(8), the remote
upgrade helper as a cron job, hier(7) paths. - Release files x86_64-unknown-freebsd (built against FreeBSD 14.4, run
on 14.0 and later).
Desktop app (docs/app.md)
- webjet-app--.tar.gz (Windows: .zip) for Linux x86_64 and
arm64, FreeBSD x86_64, macOS arm64 and x86_64, Windows x86_64. - The Windows app compiles its shaders at start with Windows'
d3dcompiler_47.dll. It is cross-built and its tests pass under Wine,
but it has not yet been started on real Windows.
webjetup
- SOCKS proxies (socks5://) are honoured; proxy variables are read in
curl's order (https_proxy, all_proxy, http_proxy) with no_proxy.
Upgrading: no order needed for nodes; older nodes are left out of
broadcast and multicast until upgraded. Upgrade every controller before
the first multicast_* limit or [multicast] capture setting.Downloads
